FIVE 'n CHANGE
Is there life after Covid? We sure hope so and we'll do our best to put 2020 behind us! After a long hiatus we are getting several requests for gigs and looking forward to playing again. See UPCOMING SHOWS for our 2022 planned appearances in the works!
Kat Wallace, our fiddler player/singer has decided to continue her music studies at the Boston Academy of Music! Although this means she will be leaving Five 'n Change we wholeheartedly wish her well! We consider ourselves fortunate to have shared a stage with Kat for so many years and hope to see her again soon!
Dear friends, Five in the Chamber has been around since 2011, and we're so grateful for all your support and love over the years. As time has passed, it has become clear that our band name often evokes an issue that we would prefer not to be associated with, and that is the issue of gun violence. In truth, the name was just a lyric from an original song the band used to play. But gun violence has become a horrible scourge on our society.
At the same time, our band has also gone through a lot of change over the years. In thinking of a new name, we wanted to pay tribute to the people who've made this band what it is, including founding members, former members, and newer members. We're still Five, but change happens.
So with that...Five in the Chamber will henceforth be known as Five 'n Change.
We can't wait to keep making bluegrass music for y'all.
